Hey y’all!

The Fresh Apparel Denim Company adventure continues! Due to a slight stretch in fabric and some other factors, I ended up with twice as many “extra” Errand #17 skirts than I was intending from my Kickstarter campaign. I had them stored in a closet last year while I was busy falling in love and stuff, but now I’m trying to recoup my costs from their production so I can move on to more projects!

Y’all may remember that I thought I’d be able to do a second style of skirt if I hit my stretch goal (which we did! It was amazing!) but that “extra” money ended up being eaten by the learning curve. Fresh Apparel has and continues to be one of the greatest experiences in my life thus far!

We’re moving in April (Lord willing to our own home!), so I’ve been going through the inventory I have here in Georgia (2/3rds are still in TN and will hopefully be joining me soon) and discovered some of the skirts are what the factory calls “seconds”. That basically means the skirts have a small flaw and shouldn’t be sold full-price. On the Errand #17 skirts, these flaws are in the waistband/ fly area and with a shirt untucked would be unnoticeable. I’ve finally added coupon codes to my shop that will allow you to buy these “seconds” for 50% off normal skirt price!!! That’s huge, considering the flaws are completely concealable.

I’ve limited the number of times a coupon code can be used to the number of “seconds” I have available. As I’m posting this, I have less than a half dozen “seconds” of the following skirt sizes. Based on my experience with the last announcement of skirts, I expect these to go very quickly, so don’t hesitate if you’re interested in one!

The codes work on both the Custom Hemmed and Unhemmed listing of each size. Enter the code at checkout (it asks if you have a coupon above the shipping/billing info) for 50% off either option. Flat Rate shipping of $7.95 on all skirt orders.

Size 35″: Coupon code 352NDS SOLD OUT!

Size 36″: Coupon code 362NDS  SOLD OUT!

Size 37″: Coupon code 372NDS

(If you buy an unhemmed skirt at this price, total INCLUDING SHIPPING would be about $25. Best price ever on these skirts!)

Alright, one more coupon option for size 35″! I don’t want to move more than one box of size 35 skirts, so I I made a code for a 40% discount on Unhemmed Errand #17 top-quality skirts that wouldn’t fit in the box. That was only three, so again, be quick!

Top-quality unhemmed size 35 coupon code: movingsale SOLD OUT!

I think that’s it for today! Thank y’all so much for your support of Fresh Apparel! Please let me know if you have any questions! Blessings!

  1. I love this sale!!!! But sadly, I have a tiny waist. Is that a sad thing? 😉 But it does mean that a 37″ waist wouldn’t fit me. 🙁
Good luck on prepping for moving!!!

  2. Hello! I would love to get one of your skirts eventually. A question though – where is the waist measurement taken? The skirts look like they sit lower on the waist, so would the measurement be taken at true waist or more like just above the hips?

    1. The sizes go by the measurement of the top of the skirt. Some women like to wear it higher, others lower, so you measure where you’d like the skirt to “sit” on your torso. Hope that helps! Thanks!

  3. How exciting to be moving soon! I\’ll have to wait till our family money-meeting to see if this can be in the budget this time, but what a great deal 🙂

  6. Hi Olivia,
I’m planning on starting my own micro-business making and selling modest clothes, and was I wondering where you get fabric for that sort of thing?

    1. Hey! That’s awesome! Well, depends on what your output will be. I needed around 900 yards of denim for my first Fresh Apparel run, so I used a wholesaler named Hyde Park Denim in NY. They were super nice and worked with me on a great price. If you need a lot less quantity, Fabric.com, GirlCharlee.com, or TheFabricFairy.com might be your best bet! Blessings!
