Hey! I have a product review for y’all today~ one that I think many of you will be excited to see!

Modesty4Me sent me one of their brown high-necked camis in Medium. I love it! I wear what I call a tank (why I call them that instead of camis I have no idea) under pretty much every top. By layering a tank under otherwise immodest shirts, we can seriously expand our wardrobe a hundredfold!
If you’ve read my blog for any time, you’ll have noticed I wear a tank daily. Although I tie the straps of my F21 or JCPenny tanks shorter to make them higher, I still have to watch myself and pull them up every once in a while. Not with this tank! It stays comfortably in place at it’s near-collarbone height. ๐Ÿ™‚

The quality and fit are fabulous and I would say so worth the price. If you get as much use out of your tanks as I do and prefer more coverage than mainstream camis provide, I highly recommend checking out Modesty4Me. They can even be adjusted- with the adjustable straps there’s so much control. As I said, I got a medium because although I’m on the very small end of their medium sizing, I wanted to be able to wear this without worrying that the tank was too tight with open cardigans like I’m wearing here. It’s perfect for that. When I decide I’d like another color, I’ll probably order a small, though, because I prefer my tanks more fitted for layering purposes. Also, check out the deals in Modesty4Me’s clearance section!

Cardigan: Thrift Store ($1)

  1. Wow! That's so cool. I'm definitely going to check them out. I wear camisoles almost every day, but they only provide low coverage for me. I need shirts that come up to about my collar bone so that's pretty awesome! It can get cumbersome wearing a big honkin' shirt under a slim shirt that needs coverage. ๐Ÿ˜›
    Thanks for sharing!

  2. Wow! I'm gonna looking into these! I am a 'daily cami wearer' ๐Ÿ˜‰ as well… I really love how high these are, as your regular cami's DO need to be tied! I also love how that are not tight (getting a slightly larger size is such a good idea! :)).

    You look beautiful! ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Those camis seem nice. I don't use tank top underneath usually. The reason is simple : here in France I can't find camis like this one that have a neckline high enough. So I bought a couple simple plain t-shirts : I got 4 in white, 2 in black, and a few other in random colors. I layer this way, though I can understand that it's easier with a tank because of the lack of sleeves !
    Blessings on your weekend !

PS : on tuesday night I started sewing the Errand skirt ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. So glad I checked your blog first thing this morning (at work with my cup of coffee and getting the day started). I just went and bought two high-neck camis from their clearance section. I'm rather large on top and I absolutely cannot stand the constant tug of war with the majority of the camisoles in my closet. Thanks for giving such an informative review!

  5. Thank you soooooooo much for sharing these! I have been feeling very convicted on this and have been looking into modest solutions. This is a GOOD one. Thank you once again for sharing all your great ideas on modesty. I enjoy your blog.

    Blessings in Him<><

  6. this is so exciting! finding the right cami is next to impossible. i wear some of them backwards, like you suggested once (thanks!) and others i tighten the straps or sew them tighter, but that makes the arm holes too tight! these cami's look pretty good. i'm not a big fan of tops being too, too high, with necklaces and such, but i think these will be ok. such a cute outfit you have today! thanks for sharing!

  7. That cami looks great! I'm going to have to check out their site. I wear camis under almost every shirt I own, but I find myself tugging on them sometimes to keep them up high enough. Thanks for this review.

  8. Lovely! I can't believe it is warm enough for you to dress so there – we are all boots and coats and gloves! How warm is it? I may have to move to TN. :)!

  9. Love the cami! I like how it goes with that amazing shirt you're wearing! I LOVE your skirt! I like those kinds of jean skirts! And green grass and flip flops?! Here you're still in your snow boots! LOL! At least it's warming up and started melting! Thanks for sharing!

  10. I'm a daily wearer of cami's too and have to same issues! I hate feeling so self conscious about the neck line. These look like a good investment and thank you SO much for sharing! Your outfit is beautiful! I have your skirt pattern and can't wait to make the Destination skirt!

  11. Nice! I like my collars just a tad lower, though. There's a certain point on my collarbone/neck that if it gets touched by my clothes, I feel suffocated. So I like my collars to be below my collarbone, but above cleavage.

  12. Modesty 4 Me rocks! Their camis are such a great invention (one I would've thought someone would have thought wayyyy sooner!) Kudos to them!
I'm jealous…I love my flip flops, alas I do NOT enjoy sticking my foot in a pile of mud and snow…:)
Your outfit is adorable, as usual! Super cute cardigan-it's a great color on you.

  13. Your skirt is adorable!! My favorite so far….how long ago did you make it? It looks like it used a minimal amount of fabric. ๐Ÿ™‚ I love seeing your handmade skirts and tops…it really inspires me!

  14. I'm so excited about this new cami, Olivia! Thanks for reviewing it. Just one question; I went onto the Modesty for Me website, and started looking at the cami reviews. One customer said that the very first time she washed hers, it completely fell apart. So would you mind telling us if anything happens to yours after you wash it?
I'd really appreciate it; if it ends up being good quality I'll need to get some. ๐Ÿ˜€

  15. Thank you for posting this! I have so much trouble trying to hide my cleavage. Simply put – larger breasts mean the no-no zone starts a lot closer to my neck than the gal next to me. I wear camis under everything, but they're never really high-cut enough. This is a perfect solution, and I'm so relieved to have come across it!

    Love your blog!

  16. I have 4 or 5 of those camis, they are fantastic! I found them while scouring modest clothing websites for high-neck camis, go figure ๐Ÿ˜› The quality is pretty good, better than most cheap camis you can buy at Forever 21 or Walmart or places like that, but they should be because they run $20-30 each. They are worth the price though. One thing I really love is that they are modest without looking stuffy. You can still see collar bone, so they give a very feminine look. I highly recommend these!
